Block Captains were initiated in 2008 to improve communication throughout the 343 homes in our association. Each block has one volunteer serving as a Block Captain. This person keeps a list of all residents on the block and their contact information. The best Block Captains issue a block directory to each house (and update it when new residents arrive), send periodic update emails about neighborhood activities, and is the liaison to your Homes Association Board of Directors.

Block Captains are a critical communication link. The Board sends emails to the Block Captains for distribution. Block Captains help residents stay connected about events, local activities, street closings, city services, and information about your homes association.
